Take control of the sled and go for a fascinating adventure. The mushers will give you the driving bases and precise orders to give to the dogs so that they follow your instructions. The musher will follow and guide you through the valley during two kilometers. After this experience, you will know how it feels to be a real musher.

The arrival time at the ROCROI activity center is the one indicated in your booking confirmation, along with the route and the location of our offices in Grau Roig. However, on our website, you can find all the information you need about the activities and their location on Google Maps. Once at the center, you can park your vehicle free of charge in our parking area. The first thing you should do is go to the reception desk located in the beige yurt near the parking area. The yurt is easily identifiable by the white flags of Grandvalira Mountain Park RocRoi and the large inflatable arches with the ROCROI and GRANDVALIRA logos. At the reception, your booking will be confirmed, and the staff will provide you with all the necessary instructions before starting the activity. Our activity center is extensive, so it is important to always follow the instructions given by the reception staff and/or monitors. The yurt will serve as your central information and meeting point. We recommend storing backpacks or items you don’t need in your vehicle, but you can also leave them in the yurt. Once everything is organized, you will be directed to the starting area or “stake-out.” At the stake-out, the musher will welcome you with the sled and the dogs ready for the experience. They will explain the activity and give you a theoretical lesson on how a mushing sled works, including the commands to use with the dogs. The musher will guide the sled through part of the route to demonstrate how to guide the dogs and maintain the sled’s stability. Afterward, you will have the chance to drive the sled for the rest of the route. You will get to meet the dogs and learn about the world of mushing. Then, you can take control of the sled and start an exhilarating ride, always under the supervision of a professional musher. You will experience unique sensations as you drive and guide the sled through a spectacular landscape until you return to the starting point where the activity ends. At the end, you can pet and reward the dogs, who will show you their gratitude. A rewarding experience in the snow with man’s best friend.
