Exhibition 'Meritxell reborn. 50 years under the gaze of a people 1976-2026'

This photographic exhibition, framed within the celebration of the 50th anniversary of the Santuari de Meritxell, invites us to observe the temple as a dynamic space where architecture, religiosity, and daily life converge. Ricard Bofill's work is presented as an expression of faith and, at the same time, as a place of collective gathering, closely linked to rituals, festivities, and significant events of the life cycle. Through forms, light, and symbolism, the tour proposes a perspective imbued with nostalgia and memory, with the aim of highlighting the importance of the Sanctuary as a meeting point for the community, emotion, and shared identity. Over time, this space has also opened up to new visions and uses, related to cultural tourism, integrating naturally into the symbolic and social landscape of the country. The inauguration, open to the public, will take place on 21-5-2026 at 19 h.
