Your romantic weekend in Andorra
DAY 1
Friday: check-in and dinner at a borda
Leave your bags at the hotel and head up for dinner at a borda in La Massana, ten minutes from the center. Both are open on Friday night: book a table, as they fill up.
DAY 2
Saturday: spa, stroll through the center, and special dinner
In the morning, thermal waters: Caldea, in Escaldes-Engordany, has a Premium area exclusively for over 16s. In the afternoon, stroll along Carlemany Avenue and the Old Quarter of Andorra la Vella. In the evening, dinner in Escaldes or a glass of wine in the center. With the slopes open, swap the spa morning for skiing and save Caldea for the evening: the night entry lasts four hours.
DAY 3
Sunday: a viewpoint and a stone village before heading back
Go up to the Mirador del Roc del Quer, in Canillo, on the road to Coll d'Ordino: it's open all year round, weather permitting. Afterwards, go down to stroll through Ordino, the village of stone houses and quiet streets, and eat there before hitting the road.
