Ten places that justify the trip, in which parish each one is located, and which ones require an entrance ticket. Choose yours and book what has limited capacity.

Andorra's must-sees, zone by zone

The center, on foot

Andorra la Vella and Escaldes-Engordany form a single city: Casa de la Vall, Barri Antic, and Caldea are all within walking distance.

Canillo, half a day in the mountains

The Roc del Quer viewpoint, the Tibetan bridge, and the Meritxell sanctuary are in the same parish.

Ordino and the lakes, a full day

Stone village, museums, and, in summer, the Tristaina lakes. In winter, the snow of Ordino Arcalís dominates.

PLAN YOUR VISIT

What to see in Andorra in 1, 2 or 3 days

In one day: the center of Andorra la Vella and Caldea, or Canillo with the viewpoint and the bridge. A weekend fits both, and with 3 days, add Meritxell, Ordino, and a lake.

With a week, there's time for Madriu, long routes, and a full day of snow.

How to get there

Andorra is traveled by road: you arrive by car, bus, or private transfer from Spain or France.

  • Private transfer: Move picks you up in any European city within 1,000 km, at any time.
  • By car: in winter, carry winter tires or chains.
  • All options: car, bus, and nearby airports.
A street scene with several white cars, many appearing to be taxis with green roof lights, parked along both sides of a narrow road between buildings.

Getting around the essentials

The center can be explored on foot. For Canillo, Ordino, or the lakes, use a car, taxi, Move, or bus.

  • Taxi or Move: the two options to go from one essential to another without a car.
  • Bus: lines between the parishes; schedules and stops on our Mobility page.
  • Canillo on weekends: a bus connects Canillo, the Tibetan bridge, and Roc del Quer, included with the ticket.
  • Roc del Quer by car: CS-240 road, km 6.5, and a 10-minute walk from the parking lot.
A long, narrow suspension bridge stretches across a snow-covered valley. Snowy mountains and pine trees are visible in the background under a clear blue sky, with a wooden fence in the foreground also covered in snow.

What to book in advance

Almost all essentials can be visited without a ticket. Book those with limited capacity or time slots.

  • Bridge and viewpoint: the pack includes both and the bus between them.
  • Caldea: admission is by time slot: morning, afternoon, or evening.
  • Guided tours: depart with a minimum of 5 people.
  • Other things: what to finalize before coming on our page What to book before traveling.
