The Comú de Canillo manages 6 public parking lots totaling over 1,050 spaces, with 23 adapted spaces for people with reduced mobility and 10 charging points for electric vehicles. It is the most convenient option to leave your car in the center of the village: covered, monitored, and without time limit.

If you're staying overnight in the village, don't pay the daily maximum every day. The Comú offers passes that significantly reduce the cost of your stay:

How does the blue zone work in Canillo? Hours, prices and the Sunday trap

Canillo's blue zone is for short stays on the street. There are two modalities, and an important warning that prevents many fines.

The Sunday trap: in Canillo the blue zone is paid seven days a week, including Sundays and holidays. If you are used to other parishes (or your city) where Sunday is free, not here. It is one of the most common mistakes among visitors.

When is it free? From 8 PM to 9 AM and from 1 PM to 3 PM. Attention: in areas marked as "residents nit" (night residents), the night period (8 PM–9 AM) is for the exclusive use of resident subscribers with Andorran license plates. Electric and plug-in hybrid vehicles are exempt from payment in the standard blue zone. The ticket can also be paid online on the Comú website.

Where to park to go to the Tibetan Bridge and the Roc del Quer Viewpoint?

Tibetan Bridge: no car access

This is the key information: the Tibetan Bridge in Canillo can only be accessed by official bus from Canillo village or from the Roc del Quer Viewpoint parking. Parking on the access road is prohibited. Bus transport is included in the ticket.

The correct plan is:

1. Buy your ticket in advance: on the official website or at the Canillo Tourist Office (tickets are not sold on the bridge itself, and there is no Wi-Fi connection).

Roc del Quer Viewpoint: own free parking

If you only want to visit the viewpoint, access is exclusively by private vehicle. On road CS-240, km 6.5, just before arriving, there is a large free parking area; from there it's about a 10-minute walk along a marked path to the platform. The viewpoint opens from 9:30 AM to 7 PM.

If you combine the bridge + viewpoint with the joint package, the official bus connects both sites, and you can leave your car down in the village. A clarification: the viewpoint-only ticket does not include any bus; there is no bus service to visit only the viewpoint.

En verano, el telecabina de Canillo sube al sector del Forn, donde está el Mon(t) Magic Family Park, abierto en 2026 del 20 de junio al 13 de septiembre (de 10 a 18 h, y de 10 a 19 h del 27 de julio al 30 de agosto).

El parking más próximo a la telecabina es el parking comunal del centro del pueblo (Aparcamiento del telecabina): el telecabina está en el mismo núcleo urbano. Eso sí, una precisión importante de Grandvalira: en verano el parking es de pago, lo gestiona el Comú y no está incluido en el precio de la entrada al parque. Calcula la estancia (un día de parque suele ser 5–8 horas) y valora si te compensa la tarifa diaria máxima de 20,60 €.

El Tarter dispone de parkings exteriores gratuitos junto a la telecabina, una opción muy popular entre los que suben a Grandvalira. El aviso importante: el parking principal cierra con barrera aproximadamente a las 20 h; a partir de esa hora puedes salir, pero no volver a entrar, y no es posible pernoctar.

Soldeu cuenta con un parking cubierto de pago de más de 600 plazas al lado de la telecabina, con 9 puntos de recarga para eléctricos. Es la opción más cómoda si priorizas tener el coche cubierto y con acceso directo, sin depender de horarios de barrera.

5. Leaving the car in El Tarter and returning at 10 PM. The barrier lowers around 8 PM: you can take it out, but not put it back in.
