The cycle of concordats (1162-1176): paradigm shift in the medieval history of Andorra

Dr. Carles Gascón i Chopo, who holds a doctorate in history, works as a professor at UNED and at the Interdisciplinary Observatory of History, Political Science, International Relations and the European Union of the UdA. In addition, he is a technician at the Consell Comarcal de l’Alt Urgell. He will talk about the historical importance of the agreements for the Principat d'Andorra. This activity is part of the 42nd Conference Cycle 2026. This cycle is held in commemoration of 50 years of Hannah Arendt and 850 years since the signing of the 2nd Concordat between the Andorrans and the Bishop of Urgell.
