WHERE TO START

Traveling to Andorra: everything you need to decide, in order

Andorra is small —seven parishes in the Pyrenean valleys—, but the trip changes a lot depending on when you come, how many days you have, and where you sleep. This guide organizes those decisions and leads you to the detailed guide for each one.At Andorra.com there are no closed packages: the hotel, experiences, eSIM, or transfer are booked separately, each with its own confirmation. This way you can customize your trip.

STEP BY STEP

How to organize your trip to Andorra in 5 steps

Choose when to come

The season decides almost everything: snow from December to April, mountains from June to October.

Decide how many days and with whom

One day is enough for the center; with a weekend, you reach the mountains. As a couple or with children, the plan changes.

Choose area and where to sleep

Center for shopping and Caldea; Canillo, Soldeu or Arinsal for skiing; Ordino for disconnecting.

Figure out how to get there and get around

You arrive by road, from Spain or France: car, bus, or private transfer. Within the country, bus or taxi.

Book what sells out

Hotel, ski pass, Caldea, and activities: in winter and during long weekends, the sooner the better.

How to get around Andorra

Distances are short, but for the slopes and high villages, it's best to have transportation sorted.

  • Bus: seven lines connecting the seven parishes; tickets are bought on the bus.
  • Taxi: to get around the country, by phone or with the Taxi Andorra app.
  • Car: the most flexible option. In the center there is blue zone parking and car parks. Ask your hotel if parking is included.

  • Ski pass and lessons: the season runs from December 4th to April 4th.
